One of our dear friend blogger Colbert Low has gotten tons of sponsors for his wedding coming up next month. He’s also trying to make some money through his new ProBloggerWedding Blog. This seems like a great idea. (No one has ever tried it.)  We’ve also donated the Wedding page on the OneBuckWiki.com.

Well, I better donate some money soon so Colbert can go off to Hawaii and relax himself a little…

Bloggers Aim to Have First Asian Sponsored Wedding

MALAYSIA, KL., 1 Nov, 2007 – As blogs continue to gain popularity and credibility, two bloggers from Probloggerwedding.com are aiming to have the first fully sponsored wedding in Asia. The bloggers are offering free publicity for any company that chooses to sponsor their wedding.

Colbert Low and his fiancée Michelle Chan, are two influential bloggers from the largest blogging networks and understand that often blogs are a “go-to source” for consumers. The blog serves as an information source for future brides and grooms, with the couple sharing details on how to find great wedding deals.

With a wedding planned in December, Colbert and Michelle blog about companies that have helped finance their wedding event via Paypal. In addition to writing about these companies, the couple includes a sponsor’s logo on their blog.
