Green Marketing, is it so bad?
I have seen a lot of people talk about how corporations use “Green” marketing to sell their products and that it’s “evil”.
I have to strongly disagree because anytime you are doing anything “green” per say such as donating 10% of your profits to green organizations, is always a good thing.
No matter how “evil” the corporation may be, if they are contributing to “green” organizations or installing solar power grids on their roofs, that’s something better than any other corporation who’s not doing it.
Of course, there may be some people who “say” they do green things but maybe they are lying. That’s “evil” but as far as I can see, promoting anything “green” and “eco-friendly” is a good thing.
I never used to be aware of green and eco-friendly things until I started Keetsa Eco-friendly and Green blog about a year ago. Since then, I have been more aware of what I do such as recycling every plastic cup I use and making sure that my lights go off when they are not used. Heck, I even added a big “earth” section on my tech blog just to cover “green” stuff. (Since then, I have over 380 blog posts about something “green”, now I suppose I did contribute to raising awareness on saving earth.)
It might be simple to think going “green” is just hyped-up marketing to sell products but that’s just what people need, a hyped-up “green” awareness. Anytime your company does anything “green” whether that’s to sell new products or to really save earth, it does a whole lotta good and goes a long ways to contributing to the world’s “greeness”. It’s the fact that you even tried to go “green”, not that you are using green marketing to sell your products. The more people in this world that does that, the more “green” our earth will be.
That said, let me give you couple “green” web hosting companies you can use to host your next web project. (Now, this is also an affiliate experiment of mine that I just started, I will do a full report on that too after couple weeks. Yes, this is also good thing for “green” since I am promoting green companies. See the “chain” effect?)
